About the Authors!
While in the military an old couple, Alberta and Ward Guidrey, invited me over for family meals. Both were orignally from New Orleans. Alberta taught me how to cook roux and explained what the "trinity" was; onion, celery, and bell pepper. Alberta was the person who nurtured my love for cooking! Another experience of mine was traveling to Japan were I learned several techniques from around the world. I even learned cross-culteral cousines.
Alana Rex, my wife, has learned her skills of baking with a level of precision that makes her results consistantly great. My wife's love for baking together with my passion for cooking, has resulted in this collection of recipes. Hope you try them and enjoy the recipes!
