Cook polish sausage and cut it up into bite size portions.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Use a single potato sliced to check temperature. When the slice begins sizzling, add the sweet potatoes then the white potatoes. Cook turning over frequently for 5 minutes. Add peppers, onion, sausage and seasonings. Continue to turn over occasionally for 15-20 minutes. Adjust heat as needed to prevent burning.
When potatoes are fork tender, turn off heat. Serve in individual bowls.
